Cake Eater Candy Bar

When FRANCES talked about her and the girls calling some of the guys, "CAKE EATERS", I'm sure they got the name from the picture in the candy bar advertisement.

FRANCES mentioned going to the ST. JOHN CONFECTIONERY. I believe she was talking about "THE CANDY JAR" located on St. John Ave.

Katz Drug Store

I included the KATZ DRUG STORE ad. I think I went to just about all the KATZ stores in the KC area at one time or another. It was sad when the stores were bought out and the name changed to SKAGGS. I still have some items with the KATZ price sticker on them. I keep them for souvenirs. It reminds me of a happier time.
