IN MEMORIUM
"Miss Nellie Stewart was born in Atherton, Missouri. She was a graduate of Bost University, and did work
toward her Master's Degree at the University of California and Chicago University. Miss Stewart came to northeast in 1913
and taught here until the time of her death, December 13, 1955. She was a teacher of physical education and human science.
She also sponsored the Delta Literary Society. Always loyal to both her students and friends, her memory will long remain
with us."
