MAXWELL TAYLOR - MILITARY CAREER

The fact that GENERAL TAYLOR was in command of the 101st AIRBORNE paratroopers during the NORMANDY invasion has a special meaning to me. Non only was he a fellow NOR'EASTER, but my UNCLE JAMES was with the 101st AIRBORNE. He was killed on June 7, leaving behind a 3-year-old daughter.
